Requirements

What you need to build it.

The app is generated with XcodeGen and built with Xcode; there is no CocoaPods or SwiftPM dependency tree to fetch.

  • macOS 14 or later, iOS 17 or later
  • Xcode 27.1 with Swift 6.4
  • XcodeGen 2.46, installed with Homebrew
  • Python 3 for the version script only
  • Disk space for a 5 GiB benchmark file if you run the large-file tests

Open source

MIT, all of it.

The CSV core, the SwiftUI shell, the AppKit grid, the iOS grid, and the tests are in one repository. No license server, no telemetry, no open-core asterisk.

If TabTool saves you a spreadsheet detour, a star is the cheapest way to help other people find it.
